Brazil Mission Trip - Day 1

Dear friends,

Sanna and I are now in Bauru, Brazil. It´s a city in Sao Paulo and it´s one of the smaller cities around here. From our hotel room balcony on 14th floor, we can see houses as far as the eyes reach..! It looks like a big city to me… The reason why we are here is to do a mission trip with Gary Oates Ministries. It´s 23 of us here with the group and we all look forward to see what God is going to do this week. We arrived this morning and drove 4-5 hours by bus to get to the hotel in Bauru.

Tomorrow we´re going to have a morning meeting in a church and then we will go to 3 churches in the evening. Gary will be preaching in one church and then two of the interns will take one intern each and a part of the team and go to the other two churches and preach. It´ll be great fun! There is always a lot of people saved, healed and delivered on these trips, and God shows up bigtime! Thank you Jesus for being with us!

Please pray for all of us. Sanna and I will probably preach once or twice each so please keep us in your prayers. Please pray that God will use us and that we will not be in the way of what He wants to do for His children here.

Colombia Mission Trip Report

Now Gary and Jim has each written a report from the trip and that´s what we´re posting here now so that you can all see a summary of what happened there. Man With COPD Healed!

As I wrote yesterday in the note “Jesus to the steets”, me and my husband finally decided to go to the streets and share the gospel of Christ and pray for the sick. And so we did…

The first man we talked to was a christian man. He had a disease called COPD (KOLS - på norsk), which is a Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease that makes it heavy to breath. We asked if we could pray for him, and he said yes. After praying, we asked if he could feel any difference. And he DID! Since he wasn´t completely healed, we asked him if we could pray for him once more. He said yes, and so we did.

It all ended with Jesus getting to touch this man with a complete healing from COPD! He is just an AWESOME GOD!!! Thank you Lord!!

“As you go, spread this message: “The kingdom of heaven is near. Cure the sick, bring the dead back to life, cleanse those with skin diseases, and force demons out of people.”" Matt.10, 7-8

Jesus to the Streets

It´s been several months now…
…Several months since me and my husband, Krister, went to the streets to pray for the sick and evangelise. That is not the way it is supposed to be though! The time is here to break out of the fear of men, and into the freedom of Christ!

In the new testament Jesus says to us: “So wherever you go in the world, tell everyone the Good News.”(mark 16,15) and: “They will place their hands on the sick and CURE them.” (mark 16,18).
The streets are ready for The gospel of freedomin Jesus Christ our King and saviour! And JESUS WANT´S TO HEAL, DELIVER AND SAVE people. Mark 16, 20 says: “The disciples spread the Good News everywhere. The Lord worked with them. He confirmed his word by the miraculous signs that accompanied it.”!!

We are ready! Ready to stir up our faith and believe in the goodness of God. Ready to bring Jesus to the streets, and pray for the sick. Ready to be bold. The heavens are open, and our GOD IS WILLING!
