What is on My Mind?
Krister Turøy — Filed Under God is Good!, Itinerary
Hi everyone,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
It´s been a while since I last updated this blog and I am sorry about that. I pray that you will still check it our once in a while and that the Lord Jesus Christ gives me grace to write here more often to tell you what He does for us here in Moravian Falls. We´ve been to 3 conferences since last time I wrote here. Two of them we hosted here in Moravian Falls and one we hosted in Franklin, Tennessee. When I say we I mean Gary Oates Ministries with staff and interns.
The first conference we had here that Sanna and I was a part of was “Charting the Course in Changing Times” and the speakers were Gary Oates, Bobby Conner and Rafaela Silveira. It was great to be a part of it all and have the opportunity to listen to them all preach and teach. It was great fun! It was the first time I met Bobby Conner and it was very inspiring. It made me want to learn scriptures like he does. I don´t think he opened the Bible at all during his sessions but I probably quoted more than 50 verses to us. It´s pretty amazing!
The next conference was “Embracing the Supernatural” with Gary Oates, Larry Randolph and Chase Turner. We share the apartment with Chase and it was great to hear him preach. He inspired all of us to seek greater intimacy with Jesus as our friend. God is doing a lot through our friend, Chase. I don´t think any of us who got to hear him preach left that session without a desire to pursue our relationship with Jesus more.
By the way, it´s possible to buy the cd´s from the conferences we host at www.garyoates.com if you want to do that.
The last conference we went to and hosted was at Grace Center in Franklin, Tennessee. It was a “Healing the Broken Hearted” conference with Kathi Oates, Andy Miller, Ed & Maritza Khouri and Scott Flanagan as the speakers. It was a big conference and most of us got touched by God and many received healing from wounds and hurts from the past. It was amazing to feel the presence of our Almighty God during the worship led by JoAnn McFatter, Steve Mitchell and Steve Swanson. We also had a worship session with Alberto and Kimberly Riviera which was awesome! They are so real!
Well… that was an easy start getting back into the groove of blogging
We´ll leave on Friday to go to West Virginia to go to a conference there during the weekend. Please be with us all in prayer while we´re on the road.
God bless you all and keep you.
Love,
Krister and Sanna
